The Urban Retreat expands on our best-selling Urban Sauna with a larger layout designed for families, entertaining, and everyday wellness. Available with or without a front porch, it blends traditional sauna comfort with a clean modern aesthetic.
At 2.3m in length, it offers generous internal space with comfortable recline seating so you can fully stretch out and relax. The optional front porch adds a classic Finnish-inspired look and a practical space to cool down, rest, or keep towels and drink bottles nearby, while the non-porch option maximises interior space.
Crafted from extra-thick 38mm Canadian Red Cedar and finished with signature matte black accents and accessories, the Urban Retreat combines natural warmth with premium durability and insulation. A powerful Harvia Vega heater delivers consistent traditional sauna heat reaching 90°C+ for an authentic year-round experience.

Performance
The powerful Harvia electric heater heats your sauna to 70°C in ~20 minutes, reaching 80–90°C+ with extended use (conditions may vary).
Add water to the hot stones for a more intense, traditional steam experience. Pre-set the heater to warm up in advance, and enjoy efficient running costs of $1 or less per hour.
The curved design and additional ventilation circulates heat evenly for a consistent, authentic session.
Installation
Elevate Saunas are designed for DIY assembly—no special tools or skills needed. Pre-cut parts, clear instructions and our expert guidance make setup a simple weekend project.
Just prepare a solid, level base (like concrete or decking) and have a licensed electrician connect the heater and light.

Maintenance
Cedar is naturally durable, moisture-resistant, and ages beautifully to a silver-grey patina without losing performance.
To maintain its rich tone, oil the exterior once a year with a breathable wood oil (like Linseed or Feast Watson®). Light sanding can refresh the surface if needed.
The sauna design sheds water efficiently, and roof shingles add extra protection. Ongoing upkeep is minimal: occasional sweeping, a quick wipe-down, and periodic checks of rocks and steel bands.
Delivery
We offer free shipping* across most of Australia or easy pickup from our Brisbane warehouse (Northgate).
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days of full payment, with courier pickup the following day. Tracking is provided when available.
Delivery typically takes 1–14 business days, depending on your location, and is to the front of your property. Saunas and ice baths are flat-packed into one convenient crate — see Specifications for package size and weight.
