Yes. Elevate Saunas are specifically designed for outdoor use in Australian conditions, using 38mm clear-grade Canadian Western Red Cedar, stainless-steel fittings, weather-resistant support cradles, durable roof shingles and tempered safety glass.

The cedar is kiln-dried, naturally resistant to moisture, decay and insects, and its interlocking construction allows for natural movement as temperature and humidity change. The rounded design also helps shed rainwater efficiently.

With a solid, level base and appropriate placement, Elevate Saunas are built to handle the heat, humidity, rain and temperature changes experienced across Australia.

Canadian Western Red Cedar is one of the premium timbers traditionally used for sauna construction, combining natural durability, stability and low heat transfer with the warm appearance and distinctive cedar aroma associated with the traditional sauna experience.

Our 38mm clear-grade cedar is kiln-dried and selected for its consistency, with fewer knots and imperfections than rustic-grade timber. It is naturally resistant to moisture, decay and insects, without requiring chemical treatment.

Yes. Elevate Saunas are designed for DIY assembly with the included instructions, appropriate 'handyman' skills and simple tools such as a battery drill, level and ratchet straps. You’ll need two people for assembly. If you’re not comfortable with larger flat-pack projects, professional installation is recommended and available in most locations Australia-wide.

Yes. All electrical products supplied with Elevate Saunas are SAA approved and RCM marked, giving you confidence that the electrical components meet the relevant Australian requirements. Our products are properly registered and designed for the Australian market, helping make the electrical installation process straightforward and giving you greater peace of mind around safety and compliance.

Our traditional electric sauna heaters require installation by a licensed electrician, with the appropriate dedicated circuit based on the heater size.

Elevate traditional saunas use electric Harvia heaters that require a dedicated hardwired circuit installed by a licensed electrician. The required connection depends on the heater size:

• 4.5kW heater: typically 20 amp, single phase
• 6kW heater: typically 32 amp, single phase
• 8kW heater: typically 40 amp, single phase

Some larger or specific heater configurations may require a different electrical setup. Your electrician will confirm the correct connection, cabling and circuit requirements for your chosen heater and installation.

We recommend arranging an electrical consultation before ordering your sauna to ensure your site can support the heater.

Yes. The Harvia heater uses volcanic sauna stones, and adding water to the heated stones creates the steam and humidity associated with a traditional Finnish sauna experience.

Elevate Saunas are designed for straightforward, low-maintenance ownership. A few simple habits will keep your sauna clean, dry and looking its best.

After each session: Leave the heater running for a short time with the door closed to help dry residual moisture. Once finished, you can leave the door open and securely supported so it cannot swing or move in the wind, allowing the sauna to ventilate and dry naturally. Close the door once dry. Wipe down the benches and any areas where moisture has collected, and remove excess water from the floor.

Interior: Clean the benches and interior timber regularly with a damp cloth or mild, sauna-safe cleaner, such as a vinegar-and-water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals, soaps and household cleaning products.

Exterior: Canadian Western Red Cedar will naturally weather to a silver-grey colour when exposed to the elements. This is normal and does not affect the timber's performance.

Timber oil: To maintain the cedar's original warm colour, we recommend a breathable, exterior-grade timber oil suitable for Canadian Western Red Cedar, such as Feast Watson Natural Wood Shield. A 4L tin is generally sufficient. Depending on exposure, oiling is typically required once a year.

With regular ventilation and basic care, your Elevate Sauna will remain clean, comfortable and ready to enjoy for years to come.

When you pre-order, you’re securing a sauna from our upcoming shipment before it arrives. We have already ordered and paid for the incoming stock, with clear shipping estimates and expected delivery timeframes provided upfront.

A $1,000 refundable deposit secures your sauna. Your remaining balance will be invoiced by email two weeks prior to delivery, giving you plenty of notice before your sauna arrives.

We’ll keep you updated throughout the process and coordinate delivery once your sauna reaches our warehouse. No uncertain production timelines — your sauna is already on its way.

We offer free delivery* to most Australian metro and regional areas (note SA free depot delivery, and TAS, NT, WA discounted depot delivery). Some remote and extended delivery locations may incur an additional freight charge, which we’ll confirm with you before dispatch.

Your sauna timber components, heater, accessories and instruction guide arrive flat-packed in one secure wooden crate, weighing up to 500kg. The crate is delivered to the front of your property where there is safe and suitable access for a tail-lift truck.

If you’re not assembling your sauna straight away, unpack the crate and store all components in a dry, weatherproof area until assembly.

We typically prepare your sauna and arrange freight collection from our Brisbane warehouse within 1–2 business days of receiving your order. Delivery generally takes 1–14 business days, depending on your location. Tracking is provided when available and being home is preferable, but not always necessary.

Yes. Have a solid, level base such as a concrete slab or suitable decking (able to hold the weight of a fully occupied sauna >500kg) ready before your sauna arrives. We also recommend an electrical consultation beforehand to ensure your site can support the heater. Allow for space around the sauna for building and maintenance access.

Every Elevate sauna is backed by a 3-year warranty on the structure and heater, with accessories covered for 1 year. Our saunas undergo independent quality checks at the factory and a second inspection at our Brisbane dispatch warehouse, backed by local after-sales support for complete peace of mind.
